Ashura
As one of Nero’s seven deities, Ashura is the Anti-God of the Eternal Flame. His flaming chain captures his name in kanji as a respect to his past live as a farmer who watched his family get slaughtered. He’s tasked to lend his powers to a mortal in suspicion of there being a grand threat to the living world, so he takes the conscience of Axl to help him hone his powers and keep watch like Nero wants him to.

Rento Kaze
This swordsman may joke around but his sword skills are no laughing matter. Being one of 100 in his clan, the Kaze Clan, Rento has lived most of his life sword-fighting and protecting his reputation as a Kaze as well as the ones he holds dear. The diamond on his jacket signifies how strong one is in the Kaze Clan, depending on the amount of diamonds and color. With Rento having a Black Diamond hoodie, he has 2 more Black Diamonds to go and then he’s at the highest level in the Kaze Clan’s sword-fighting school. As he meets Axl in Astrapunks, Rento begins to find greater meaning to life than just fighting to ills of the world but the ‘demon’ inside of his own mind and harnessing it.
